Reconstructed necklace made from a strand of pure red antique (early 20th Century) “Hajj Beads” – these were found in East Africa; Ethiopia or Sudan; and original manufacture is Czech glass. They have that wonderful patina of old malas, rosaries, and sacred beads – many fingers have handled these and there is a sense of history and wear. Reconstucted using the finest durable materials including a 20KT Gold plated silver Hill Tribes – made rustic clasp made in Bali. Gorgeous to wear as it is both a vibrant piece of history, and also a sacred object. The antique Hajj Beads and very hard to find and these are in excellent condition. Irridescent necklace with multicultural origins in Antiquity… features a large Natural New Zealand Paua Shell fragment, highly polished, in a soft organic shape, the Natural Gem of the Pacific.

Silvery Elephant totem, Ancient Greek replica bronze patina sculptural ceramic bead, oval green-blue shell,, brown knotted leather cord. The necklace also features one 18th Century antique yellow glass White Heart bead, found in New Guinea, used as accent.
